Global Road Technology Finalists in the BRW and PwC Aspire Awards

Global Road Technology has been announced as the finalist in the BRW and PWC Aspire Awards as one of Australia’s most innovative start-ups.

BRW and PwC are proud to announce the finalists for Aspire, a series of awards seeking out the transformations and initiatives that make private business the unsung hero of Australian prosperity.

International road construction and maintenance company Global Road Technology (GRT) has been recognized as one of the most innovative new businesses in the country. The company was named a finalist in the ‘Start-Up Disruptor’ category of the inaugural 2015 BRW & PwC’s Private Clients Aspire Awards. BRW & PwC  jointly launched the Private Clients Aspire Awards to celebrate the outstanding business practices and initiatives of Australian private and family-owned business enterprises.

GRT managing director Troy Adams said the awards are important for businesses that are making massive strides within industries that often go unrecognised. “We are thrilled to have been nominated in the Aspire Awards and appreciate BRW and PwC’s initiative to recognize home-grown talent in the private sector,” Mr Adams said. The awards consider businesses from all major vertical industries, across seven ‘game-changing’ categories. The Start-Up Disruptor category recognizes businesses that have been in-trade for three years or fewer, whose goods or services were innovative or disruptive in their industry or market, earning more than $5MM in annual revenue. “The quality of businesses, and the innovation and milestones that have been achieved in these categories really shows the breadth of Australian talent in the business sector,” Mr Adams said.

“We are really proud of the work we have done and what we have been able to achieve with our world-first technology. “Our industry leading soil stabilization and dust control solutions have made safer working and living conditions for people from rural Australia, to drought ridden Papua New Guinea with offices in 18 countries around the world. It means a lot to receive this recognition.” Winners of the 2015 BRW & PwC’s Private Clients Aspire Awards will be announced at the awards presentation evening in Sydney on Tuesday, November 10.
